After a festive pause, we’re delighted to kick off 2026 with a packed January Newsletter, combining highlights from December and January as all teams returned to action with energy and determination.

Our Men’s Team faced a challenging run of fixtures through tough conditions and injury setbacks, but showed real resilience and growth — including a well-earned victory to open the New Year and promising performances to build on as the season continues.

The Ladies Team started 2026 on a high with a thrilling home win, showcasing strong attacking play, composure under pressure, and a fantastic all-round team effort to secure three valuable points.

Our Juvenile Section continues to shine. The 1st Years extended their winning streak with two excellent performances, while the Inter A squad remain unbeaten at the top of the table with back-to-back wins. The Inter B team showed great fight and improvement, proving once again that hard work and determination pay off.
In Club Stories, we look ahead to an exciting year for Navan Hockey Club, including plans for a future Astro pitch and details of our upcoming Table Quiz Fundraiser in March — a key step in supporting the club’s long-term growth.
