Navan Ladies – A Developing Squad Shows Its Fight
Their opening fixture against a very strong YMCA side provided a difficult introduction to the season, but the performance and result should not overshadow the effort shown by those younger players. They gave everything against an established opposition and continued competing with their heads held high until the end.

Navan Men – A New Season and a Fighting Start
With a mixture of experienced players and younger lads stepping up into senior hockey, numbers are looking strong and there is plenty of enthusiasm across both squads. The summer Social Hockey sessions have also helped players stay active during the off-season, and the hard work has continued through pre-season training with a focus on fitness, skills and teamwork

A Tough Opening Challenge
The 2026/27 season is officially underway for the Navan Ladies, who travelled to Wesley College on 19th September to face a very strong YMCA side. It was a challenging and eventful opening fixture, but the result certainly doesn't tell the whole story, particularly with several of our younger girls stepping up into senior roles this season.

A new season brings a big milestone for the Navan Men! For the 2026/27 season, we’re delighted to be fielding TWO senior Men’s teams, with Navan M1 competing in Division 4 and our brand-new Navan M2 beginning their journey in Division 6. Back to Basics, Forward Together
A 2025/26 campaign, the team is heading into the year ahead determined to rebuild, refocus and grow stronger together. Last season was a difficult one, with the Ladies regularly struggling to field a consistent squad from week to week. Injuries, availability and changing team selections made it difficult to build the understanding and structure needed on the pitch, and the team will begin the 2026/27 season in Division 7

New Season, New Opportunities
The countdown to the 2026/27 season is officially on, and the Navan Men’s team are back on the pitch and working hard in preparation for another year of Division 4 hockey. After securing their place in Division 4 last season, the Badgers will be determined to build on that campaign and continue moving forward. Pre-season training is already well underway, with plenty of focus on both fitness and stick skills as the squad prepares for their first competitive test of the new season
